Hey there! I have been helping with Speedfest India class for the past 3 years as an intern with NASA OKSG and I knew from my first year, this would be my capstone. I was terrified to be prop lead because I knew hardly nothing about propellers or IC engines but have found the challenge incredibly rewarding. I’ve learned more than I expected through research, engine tests, and plenty of 12 hour days.

To current or future MAE students, I highly recommend joining Speedfest as a volunteer and choosing it as your capstone. It’s a phenomenal learning opportunity that you should take advantage of while you’re still in school.
